    • addDataChangedHandler

      HandlerRegistration addDataChangedHandler(DataChangedHandler handler)
      Notification method fired when a DataSource operation such as an add, remove or update modifies the underlying data for a DataSource.

      This method is used by ResultSets to keep the user-visible data up to date as changes are made, and by components that have no cache manager - see DynamicForm.cacheSync.

      Code observing this method should not assume the records in the response are complete rows: CacheSyncData lets an update carry only the primary keys plus the fields that changed. updateCaches() describes both modes.

      Parameters:
      handler - the dataChanged handler
      Returns:
      HandlerRegistration used to remove this handler
